Aderayo
is twenty three (23) years old, the only girl in a family
of four children. Aderayo, a very brilliant young lady gained
admission into the University of Ibadan to study Veterinary
Medicine for two consecutive years, but could not accept her
admissions because of financial constraint. She has since
been assisted by WODANET to pay her school fees, accommodation
fees and a little stipend for her upkeep. |

Ayo is a third
year student of the Junior Secondary School at Shadel International
High School, Omole Phase II, Olowora, Ikeja, Lagos. She is
13 years old. She became a WODANET scholarship recipient when
she was in the final year of primary school (class six). The
Centre was given a 50% discount on her tuition fees by her
School’s Proprietress. |

Helen is twenty
three (23) years old. She comes from a family of twelve children.
She is presently a 200 level undergraduate at Lagos State
University (Anthony Campus), her course of study is Industrial
Relations. Though she runs a phone call centre, the money
realised from the business is hardly enough to cater for her. |

Onyilo Naomi
is a six (6) year old primary two pupil at the Maryland Convent
Private School, Maryland. The Centre has been responsible
for her schooling since she was in nursery two. |

|
Omolara is
fourteen (14) years old. She attends Starfield College and
is in the second year of the Senior Secondary School. She
has a 25% discount on her school fees from the school. |

|
Onome is eighteen
(18) years old. She was referred to the Centre by Project
Alert on Violence Against Women. Onome gained admission into
Lagos State University (Jibowu Campus) to study Diploma in
Law. She is currently in 200 level. While the Centre is responsible
for her schooling, Project Alert is responsible for her upkeep. |

Semande is
a sixteen (16) year old student of Starfield College, Iju,
Fagba. She is in the third year of Senior Secondary School.
She is due to write her West African Examination Certificate
(WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examinations
this year. |

Stella is
twenty four (24) years old secondary school graduate. The
Centre sponsored her through a short course on computer usage
in the year 2004. On the completion of her computer course,
she decided to get trained in fashion designing, this, the
Centre also took responsibility of by paying her vocational
training fees. The Centre also bought necessary materials
including a sewing machine so that she can learn fast. She
started in February 2005, her training runs until February
2008. |

Taiwo is a
twenty three (23) year old lady. She completed her pre-degree
programme at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin
and started her National Certificate of Education programme
in 2004. Unfortunately, her sponsor died in 2005 and she was
at the point of discontinuing her programme when the Centre
took up responsibility for her schooling. She is presently
in the second year (ND 2) at Adeniran Ogunsanya University
of Education. |

Temitope is
sixteen (16) years old. She is in the final year of the Senior
Secondary School at Starfield College, Iju, Fagba, Lagos State.

|
Tolu is fourteen (14) years
old. A student of Bols International College , Akinogun, Ipaja.
She is in the second year of Senior Secondary School. She
is a science student. |

Ikimot is
five (5) years old and in Nursery two at Dolphin Private School,
Phase ¾, Adeniji Adele Road , Lagos Island. |

Oluwabukola
Jesukemi Aderiye
Bukola is the third of her parent’s three children.
She is seventeen (17) years old. She attends Starfield College
located at Daddy Savage Road, Iju, Fagba, Lagos. She is a
science student in her third year of Senior Secondary School.
She will be writing her West African Examination Certificate
(WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examinations
this year. The proprietor of her school, Mr. C. A. Eigbe upon
discussions with CEWHIN staff gave Bukola a 25% discount on
her school fees throughout her stay in the school.

Alimot is four (4) years old. She attends Royal Well Nursery
& Primary School, Isale Eko. She is in Nursery two.
